Lost Ones by Tiffany Murchison
For every one removed there will be two new.
Negativity, there is nothing strong enough to keep me bound to you.
Misery loves company, I refuse to oblige.
The devil throws you all a pity party but I'm not along for the ride.
For God so loved me, He gave His only son.
He'll surely give me many more to make up for all the lost ones.
Although we share a lineage, a heritage we do not.
While you stay pedaling, I say "here is where the cycle stops!"
I'll love you from afar, pray for you with sincerity.
Not because you deserve it but because that's how God has instructed me to be.
Forgiveness for you is somewhere in my heart
with the understanding that forgiving doesn't mean that we should not stay apart.
As it is accepting responsibility that makes you mature and decisions that show your wisdom,
I know who am as a Christian woman, strong in God's Kingdom.
You have to first fit my shoes before you can walk in them.
But, remember, I don't just walk in my stilettos, I have a stride among men.
Welcome to "Grown Girl's Rules..." a blog for words of wisdom and advice on men, money and other mess! The advice is a compilation of my family culture and values, my Christianity and my experiences...and of course, your comments. Read. Post. Enjoy. Be Blessed!
