What is a "black church"?

Question of the day: What is your definition of a "black church" is. Is a church led by a black pastor(s) no longer a "black church" if it is progressive?

Thought of the Day "Let the weapons form..."

Isaiah 54:17 says "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn." So why do we flee when weapons form & tongues rise? Or better yet, we try to avoid the formation of weapons & the rising of tongues? Impossible! God's Word says it...weapons WILL form, tongues WILL rise. If not in the midst of attack, where else will God show His Power & Might? Stand in faith on His Word and in His armor. Let the weapons form and the tongues rise...and let God move!

And don't be selfish. Remember that our trials are not only for our lessons. Others are watching...both sinners and saints, to see how strong your faith is, how you allow God to use you. In the pulling down of strongholds, in the commands for your enemies to flee, does our Father show all the world that He is the Almighty and that we are His protected. It when the righteous celebrate and the wicked are taught the error of their ways.

So, let the weapons form! Let the tongues rise! People will plot and plan your demise, work to your detriment. Friends may become enemies. Saints may act like sinners. Jesus had a Judas. So why shouldn't you expect to. In the end, you may be tried in the fire, but you will come out GOLD!
